Now a newly-elected member of the State Senate, Asm. Eloise Reyes concluded her four terms in the State Assembly with her fourth consecutive perfect Courage Score. Over eight years in the lower chamber, she established herself as an effective architect of meaningful progressive legislation, providing advocacy on bills related to housing, education, environmental justice, and worker protections. In 2024, she co-authored AB 1333 to improve housing availability by prohibiting the sale of two or more newly constructed homes to institutional investors, and provided reliable support to 56 of the other bills evaluated for Courage Score. After serving across several leadership roles in the Assembly, including co-chair of the Legislative Ethics Committee, Assistant Majority Whip, and Assembly Majority Leader, Sen.
