A seasoned and respected legislator, Gonzalez has a solid B-rating for the 2021 legislative year and a track record of supporting bills related to criminal justice reform, worker protections, and housing rights. She’s received high marks from a variety of progressive organizations, including organized labor. She exited the Assembly to take up a new post as the head of the California Labor Federation in summer 2022 with a wealth of experience and an understanding of how to successfully advocate for California’s workers and working families.
