Represents: Anaheim
Supports: Big Pharma, Big Real Estate, Big Oil, Big Business
Opposes: Big corporations paying their fair share — of workers wages, property taxes…you name it, really.
Shameful Vote: Chose to stand with big corporations and the multi-billion dollar restaurant lobby against minimum-wage earning service industry workers earning better pay, benefits and safety protections on the job.
What Were They Thinking?: In the Assembly Transportation Committee, Daly tried to not let a bill that set a goal of new passenger vehicles being zero-emission by 2035 get out of committee. That’s only slightly worse than when a bill came up to ban local police forces from buying unnecessary military war-zone equipment, and Daly just decided not to vote at all.
